Each team member brings their own unique background, experience and skill set to the company, which helps us ask our clients the right questions and evaluate the quality of our work from many different perspectives. The result is a home that not only matches your vision today, but will also meet your changing needs in the future.
Our Blueprint
The Weaver Custom Homes story began in the 1950s when Ben Weaver, a mason by trade, crafted his skill in the Massillon and Akron area. Over the next decade, Ben built a few homes every year. With aspirations of building homes in Wooster with uncompromising quality and treating people with honesty and integrity, Ben and his wife, Ada Mae, sold their family farm to pursue their dreams.
While the values of excellence and integrity remain the foundation of the company, Merle Stutzman, President, had a vision to expand into new markets, entering the Columbus market in 2010 with a New Albany parade house. Merle also aspired to integrate new technology into the custom floor plan design and building process, creating realistic 3D renderings to bring dream homes to life.
