The Weaver History of Customer Satisfaction

Weaver Custom Homes is a family business, so we know how important the choice of a builder is for your family. Just like each family member is unique and special we create homes that are one of a kind, to give you what you desire and to exceed your expectations. With over 30 years working together as a family, the traditions of quality, value, and integrity have shaped our generational business.

Long known as Wayne County's premier home builder, Weaver Custom Homes began in the 1950's when a country farmer decided to try his hand at home building. Ben Weaver brought elegant custom homes and distinguished communities to Wooster and incorporated his business in 1979.

When Ben retired, his children took over where he left off. Ken Weaver became President of Weaver Custom Homes in the early 1990's and expanded the family business to not just include custom homes, but  condominiums, and a Villa Series of homes as well. In 2007, Merle Stutzman became the President of Weaver Custom Homes. Ron Wenger, son in law to Ben, is President of the commercial division, Weaver Commerical Contractors, which was created to increasingly meet the needs of the family's customers.

Weaver Custom Homes is best known for quality construction, unmatchable craftsmanship, and for always operating with honesty and integrity. With countless awards, and a history of customer satisfaction, the Weaver Custom Homes team of craftsmen and professionals are driven to create quality and relationships that span generations, just like our family business does.

Ben Weaver, founder of Weaver Custom Homes, was also a founding member of the Home Building Association of Wayne and Holmes counties, which began in 1975 and received its charter in 1984. In 2003, Ben Weaver was awarded the Honorary Life Member by the HBA of Wayne and Holmes counties.
